Description

I’m passionate about language and not keen on using “labels” to define how our brilliant and diverse minds work. However, there is wonderful liberation for many of us in realising that the difficulties we face - while others seem to breeze through - are because our minds process things differently from the majority. We currently define this as, among other things, ADHD, ASD, and neurodivergent.

As someone who, along with my family and most of my friends, is neurodivergent, it took me a lifetime to realize that 80% of the population differs from us. It wasn’t until my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD and a close friend with ASD that I began to see specific traits in myself and those around me that definitely fall into the neurodivergent spectrum. This inspired me to become an Association for Coaching® (AC) accredited ADHD coach to support my daughter and myself, but primarily to help others understand themselves better and reduce the shame often associated with being an "undercover" neurodivergent in a neurotypical world.

The way I work with neurodivergent clients is much the same as with neurotypical clients. I help find and implement the changes that will help you to become more accepting of yourself and better able to achieve your goals.

Many of my clients use their Access to Work funding to pay for coaching with me, and I also have private clients and corporate clients. If you need assistance, I can help with your Access to Work invoice submission.
