As a teacher and trainer, I love the idea of people working together as a group. So when I had the chance to work with Alyson Jenkins on a group coaching project I jumped at the chance.
EVE is a 24 hour group coaching event for women. It’s all about looking forward not back, and we have a variety of short sessions exploring wellbeing, stress, resilience, self care, meditation and relaxation. Most importantly it’s a space to reflect and dream!
EVE is a great name and in this small word we can sum up a lot of big ideas – the end of one day and the beginning of another – sunset and sunrise – new beginnings – powerful women – inclusion of all women.
The first few EVEs are being delivered online, but we really want to do the event in person as well. Post pandemic, many of us want to reconnect and share with like minded people, and be present in a physical space together. Even so, online workshops can be just as effective and they offer a different kind of accessibility and inclusion. They save time and resources, and can be more convenient for people with caring responsibilities or travel issues.
Working on EVE has been a lovely experience, and we get to meet amazing women from all walks of life.
