I came across Finch recently and it’s honestly great! There are so many apps out there promising to change our ADHD lives, but most of them are about planning and scheduling. Finch doesn’t mention ADHD until it’s included in a list of challenges which is refreshing. It’s a free game which is similar to Tamagotchi, and your wellbeing is linked with the wellbeing of your little bird. There are in-app purchases.

Choose what you want to focus on – it could be sleep, eating, exercise, tasks, organisation – and your bird will remind you of the steps you need to take today. You can add your own goals or use the suggestions. As you tick off the goals your bird gets more healthy and happy.

The graphics are cute and it reminds me a bit of Pokemon as your bird grows and gains maturity. I’ve only just started but it’s engaging and it certainly has a novelty and game factor which is making me want to know what comes next. I’ll do some more with the app and edit with a review soon.

You can find out more on the Finch website here.

What our students say

Hear from coaches who have completed training with Barrett Coaching and Training and gone on to develop their practice.

“This training completely changed my career path. I went from feeling unsure to feeling confident and equipped to work with ADHD clients.

What stood out most was how genuinely neuro-affirming the experience felt, and how much it deepened my own understanding of ADHD.”

I finished the course feeling confident, capable, and excited about the work I’m now doing with clients.”
